Disclaim:Premium Ceramic Ball is not the regular 440 CVM stainless steel ball, which is the newest technology originally from the
UK and Known as WS-II. The PremiumBall process impinges each ball with a .5 micron Tungsten Disulfide hard coating. Premium Ball is a really excellent choice for ceramic substitute. It’s light or dark grey in color and Grade 3, made in
Juliar,
CT and coated in
UK. This coating impregnates a permanent lubricant within the surface substrate layer of the ball. It will last the whole life of the bearing. This greatly improves the wear characteristics of the ball pockets in phenolic retainers. Particularly effective in start and stop cycling of dental high speed handpieces. This extended life feature is extremely slippery and well suited for operating in low lube and no lube environments.
